Spa Etiquette

To keep the serenity of the spa experience, we ask that you turn off your cellular phone upon arrival. Our clients are here for relaxation, please try to keep excessive noise to a minimum. Undergarments are your choice. Upon your request, we can provide disposable panties for body treatments and waxing services. Your therapist will cover you at all time and uncover the areas to be worked on during treatment.

Please bring the swim suite for any bath treatments, such as Mediterranean massage, Russian Royal Treatment or Turkish bath. If the therapist says, 'take your time getting up', it means not to get up so fast that you get woozy. You generally have five or so minutes. The room must be prepared for the next client unless she or he says otherwise.

You are welcome to enjoy complimentary tea after your services; but if you do not schedule the spa party, please be aware that you are expected to leave in one hour after the treatment or at the spa closing which ever is earlier.

Valuables should not be brought into the facility, as we are not responsible for article lost or stolen.

We retain the right to refuse service to anyone that appears to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

Sexual advances, comments or innuendoes toward our staff will result in immediate termination of treatments.

If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can offer you another more convenient date or time and offer the appointment to another customer. It could be you next time who needs a cancellation slot.

Booking

Please specify therapist gender preference at the time of booking. Appointments are recommended but not required. Drop in appointments are welcome on a first come first served basis and will happily accommodate your needs to the best of our ability. If you would like to guarantee a time for your service please schedule an appointment in advance with your favorite therapist or any of our amazing staff members. Large groups and multiple services are best accommodated with appointments scheduled well in advance so that we can be sure we have enough staff on hand to serve you and make your visit unforgettable.

Wedding and Baby showers, birthday parties and fundraisers are welcomed. Please call us for arrangements.

Arrival

Please arrive fifteen minutes ahead of your scheduled reservation. This allows time for leisurely check-in, a change of clothes and a few quiet moments to relax into the experience that awaits you. Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed.

Lockers

Lockers are provided for our guests. We have separate locker rooms for men and women. We provide all the necessities for your spa visit. Our robes, towels, slippers, and toiletries are available for your convenience. We ask that you help keep the facilities clean by placing used robes and towels in the provided hampers.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the prices. Gratuities are a matter of personal discretion. They should reflect your level of satisfaction with our services. 15%-20% is both appropriate and appreciated. Gratuity envelopes are available at the front desk preferably at the time of check out.

Children

We welcome the participants 16 years of age or older. This is to preserve the calm and relaxing atmosphere that we believe is intrinsic to visit Massage Guru. We are unable to provide services to guest accompanied by children.
